Peter Ismert (1961-) has lived most of his life in San Francisco, before recently settling in Liverpool.  

His references - clearly linked to the first part of Cubism - are expressed in an organized assemblage whose sense of composition eventually reveals itself in their titles. In this way, we return to an image that has appeared deformed, often still lifes or the artist’s intimate childhood memories.
